After a year of delays, frustrations, and a lot of hard work (and money), I am greatly relieved, today, to finally release version 1.2 for the whole suite of recipes apps.
In short, this update adds two major features to all the apps: lists and the journal.
The lists encompass your flagged and favorite recipes, but you can also create custom lists. And if you take advantage of our free sync service, your lists can sync across devices and across apps, just like your ingredient inventory.
The journal encompasses three kinds of annotations for recipes: likes, dislikes and notes. You can now add your own notes to recipes, and append likes/dislikes and accumulate (after the style of social media). Each journal entry is dated and collected in a new reverse-chronological journal view, and summarized elsewhere. Again, if you take advantage of our free sync service, your lists will sync across devices and across apps, just like your ingredient inventory.
These new features have been beta tested over many weeks, but there may still be some rough edges. Please don’t hesitate to email if you’re experiencing trouble.
There are some other new things to talk about soon, but this is enough for now!
